We can customise our Elite belts to have anything you’d like on them. You can request Single Prong, Double Prong, Quick Release or Lever mechanism and both 10mm and 13mm thickness.

How To Order:

  1. Place order for belt
  2. We will contact you to find out what you would like on your belt. We will send a proof for you to agree. Once the proof has been agreed the order cannot be cancelled. You can obviously amend the design prior to agreeing to the proof.
  3. As the item is customized you cannot return for a refund if it doesn’t fit or you don’t like the design.
  4. We’ll let you know how long you’re going to have to wait once we confirm with our supplier.
  5. Designs can either be printed or embroidered.
  6. We can do custom sizes at no extra charge (we have done belts up to 61″ long).
  7. Please note you can choose from a different colour, standard is the Brown Nubuck leather, we can also do Cow and Buffalo leathers in white, yellow, red and black. You can ask us if you’ve got another colour in mind and we can check with the supplier.
  8. You can choose Single Prong, Double Prong, Quick Release or Lever (Stainless Steel).

Product Description

Do you want to own your own custom powerlifting belt? Of course you do! We have redesigned our custom weight lifting belts having thought long and hard about what we want them to be. We have decided to go for the best in terms of materials.

You have three LOADS OF options for the belt material:

Nubuck Leather: a soft brown nubuck leather outer which is approx 2.5mm thick (to allow for embroidery), then subsequent layers are made from buffalo leather and then a layer of suede which is around. Having a buffalo leather in the middle is significantly more expensive than many other weightlifting belts (you will often see thin layers of cardboard type material which is how some brands can sell cheap belts. We don’t do things like that, we want to give you a quality product that will last forever.

Black Cow Leather: A super soft black leather outer with a textured appearance approx 2.5mm thick (again to allow for the embroidery needle to pass through), subsequently there are layers of buffalo leather and then a layer of suede.

White Cow Leather: A super soft white leather with a textured appearance approx 2.5mm thick (again to allow for the embroidery needle to pass through), subsequently there are layers of buffalo leather and then a layer of suede.

Red Cow Leather, Almost any colour suede, and lots of other colors are also available. Please contact us first if you’d like to check we can do a colour. You can choose the colour of the leather outside, the leather or suede inside and also everything from stitching to buckle colour and rivet colour.

You can choose either a single prong, double prong, quick release or Lever. You can choose to go for either 10mm or 13mm thick belt.

ModiFit Powerlifting Belt – Sizing Information

The image below shows where you would sit on each of the belts. Each belt has 8 holes spaced over 7″, indicated by the red dots. For example, if your belly button measures 32″ you would sit on approximately the 7th of 8 holes on a Medium and the 3rd of 8 holes on a Large. In this instance a Large would be a better fit. It is better to be near the bottom of a larger belt than near the top of the smaller belt, as you will have more of the end of the belt to hold onto when tightening and loosening the belt. This is especially important on a powerlifting belt due to their thickness. Just to stress – we do not recommend buying a size where you are on either the first or last hole. If you are unsure of sizing please give us a call and we’ll be happy to help!

Please measure around your waist / belly button where the belt will sit. Do not rely on your jeans size / waist size as this may be different.

Meets IPF Spec – Not IPF Approved

These are to IPF spec from Technical Rule Book 2014 (updated January 2014). Please note, these are heavy duty powerlifting belts that will be really stiff when you first get it. If you’ve used a decent powerlifting belt before you will know this and know it takes a bit of time for it to break in! Fortunately, as these are our Elite belts, the leather is already pretty soft, so break-in time will be minimal!

Belt
Competitors may wear a belt. If worn, it shall be on the outside of the lifting suit.
Materials and Construction:
(a) The main body shall be made of leather, vinyl or other similar non-stretch material in one or more laminations which may be glued and / or stitched together.
(b) It shall not have additional padding, bracing or supports of any material either on the surface or concealed within the laminations of the belt.
(c) The buckle shall be attached at one end of the belt by means of studs and / or stitching.
(d) The belt may have a buckle with one or two prongs or “quick release” type (“quick release” referring to lever.)
(e) A tongue loop shall be attached close to the buckle by means of studs / or stitching.
(f) The name of the lifter, the lifter’s nation, state or club may appear on the outside of the belt.

1. Width of belt maximum 10 cm.
2. Thickness of belt maximum 13 mm along the main length.
3. Inside width of buckle maximum 11 cm.
4. Outside width of buckle maximum 13 cm.
5. Tongue loop maximum width 5 cm.

Delivery Options

There are 2 delivery options to UK residents:

-> Royal Mail 48: 2 – 3 day untracked service that costs £3.29
-> DPD Next Working Day: 1 day tracked service with a 1 hour delivery slot that costs £4.99 (excludes NI, Highlands and Islands)

We dispatch orders 3pm every day so if you order before this time on a week day your order will be dispatched that day. Please note neither service is guaranteed in terms of time. Sometimes parcels get delayed which is out of our control, lost packages will of course be replaced or refunded. Please see our Terms and Conditions page for full info.

Free Delivery

Free delivery on UK orders over £40 (that’s almost half what you needed to spend before). If you want it next Day it’s a flat £4.99 but drops to £2.99 if you spend over £40. Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and Channel Islands will go through Royal Mail rather than DPD – Next day service is not available or guaranteed to these areas, but we send with Royal Mail 48 so there is a 93% chance (according to Royal Mail) that it will arrive in 48 hours. Please note, as per our terms and conditions, the next day service is not guaranteed, nor are you able to claim a refund on non-delivery next day. In the last 12 months 98.5% of our shipments with DPD were either delivered next day or a delivery attempt was made (i.e. if the item wasn’t delivered it was because the recipient was out). Returns and Refunds

If you are not happy with your order or you need to change something, the easiest thing to do is to email us so that we both have a record of it. We are happy to exchange any item for you at no extra charge for UK customers (you will need to cover postage of item sent back to us). Overseas customers will need to pay for postage of the replacement item. If an item is damaged or the wrong item was sent we will usually cover return postage.

For a refund you will need to return your order to us within 28 days of receipt of your order. After this time you will no longer be eligible for a refund. We aim to process your refund the same week it arrives back with us.

This is done at your own cost. We would recommend UK customers sending 2nd class. If the postage packet is less than 1″ (25mm) thick it can be sent as a large letter, which will be cheaper, at around £1.19 (up to 250g). A shoebox size parcel will cost you around £2.80 to return (under 2kg). These prices are according to the Royal Mail website as of 12th January 2016. You are covered to a value of £20 insurance on this, so if you want extra piece of mind you can get your item sent with a signature at around an extra £1. Please note returning an order is at your cost so it is up to you to decide which service you opt for. If the item fails to arrive with us again that is for you to take up with Royal Mail. We are not responsible for lost returns.

Exchange

Please return your item(s) with a note inside specifying change in size or colour. If you have the original delivery slip (also emailed to you) this is even better and makes life easier at our end). We will send out your replacement item once your order arrives back with us. If anything is out of stock we will either ring or email to see what you’d like to do. The exchange will be sent by us to you at our cost with Royal Mail 2nd class. If you’d like to have it sent by any other service you will be required to pay for that service. We think this is pretty cool as some other companies make you pay the extra delivery, sneaky devils.

Returns / Refunds

As above, please return to the address with a note inside asking for a refund. UK customers are covered under the UK government’s Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (formerly Distance Selling Regulations or DSR), which means if you’re not happy with your order you can return it for a refund. The time limit is set in our terms and conditions (28 days from receipt of order). If you’re not sure just give us a call and we will let you know what’s what. You are again liable for the return postage cost, as per CCR and our T&C’s (which you will have signed at purchase). Please note DSR only applies to UK based customers and not business customers (public sending to their work address does not come under business customers, we understand if you’re buying a t-shirt and getting it sent your office the likelihood is it’s not a business purchase…).

Refunds are usually done on a Friday each week, if you’ve sent your order back and it’s been 7 days and still not heard anything, give us a gentle reminder. We want your repeat business so we don’t want to mess you round! PayPal payments go into your account immediately; card payments take 2-3 days (though you’ll have an email receipt straight away confirming it’s underway).

Order Info

When ordering you will receive a series of automated emails to help you understand where your order is in our system. Hopefully the below information will help you should you have any questions.

 

Card / PayPal Payments

If you are paying by card or PayPal and the transaction is successful, you will have an automated email informing you that your order is “Processing”. You will be given an order number (#123 for example) and receive a pdf invoice detailing your order.

We then print off your order and mark it for dispatch which is labelled “Completed”. Don’t panic if you’ve not received your order yet, as it’s marked as “Completed” to print off the delivery slip inside your parcel.

 

Failed Order

If for any reason the order is not processed you will receive an email saying that the order has “Failed”. No money will be taking from your card or your PayPal account at this point.
