What size does the print artwork need to be?
When designing your belt you will have 4 options for the design:

  • Choose from an existing design
  • Upload your own complete READY TO PRINT design
  • Upload images for us to tile together (+£15)
  • Upload images for us to collage together; removing backgrounds (+£60)

If you are uploading several images for us to create a design for you they need to be at least 700 pixels tall / vertically. Anything below this may come out blurry on the final product.

If you'd like to upload your own completed design that is ready to print, it needs to be in the below size ratios. If you upload an image that is not in this ratio we will NOT BE ABLE TO USE IT

  • Small: 105cm x 11.5cm @ 300dpi
  • Medium: 115cm x 11.5cm @ 300dpi
  • Large: 125cm x 11.5cm @ 300dpi
  • XL: 135cm x 11.5cm @ 300dpi
  • 2XL: 140cm x 11.5cm @ 300dpi
  • 3XL: 145cm x 11.5cm @ 300dpi
  • 4XL: 150cm x 11.5cm @ 300dpi
  • 5XL: 155cm x 11.5cm @ 300dpi
  • 6XL: 160cm x 11.5cm @ 300dpi

We ship worldwide. You can scroll to the very bottom of the page and click our 'Shipping' page to view detailed info of the different options, free shipping thresholds etc., but yes we ship to EVERY country on Earth. 

The prices shown are in pounds sterling (i.e. GBP, £). We are unable to show other currencies due to conflicts with the belt builder. You don't need to worry about converting your currency to GBP as this will be done automatically by your bank when you purchase. The amount you'll pay in your native currency will be determined by your bank's exchange rates (you can check your bank's website for an up to date currency conversion); for a rough estimate you can use the currency converter below.


What is included in the price?

The price includes a custom design printed along the entire back of a weightlifting belt. You can add extra options such as extra embroidery on top of the print, a custom design on the inside (printed or embroidered), design on the belt loop and also black edging. Please note - we cannot design your artwork; you will need to either select from one of the pre-made options or upload your own complete design. 

I don't have a design can I still order?
You will need to have a design ready to upload when you order, or you can select one of our pre-made designs and add extras on top.

Can you send me a mock-up of my design idea?
Without purchasing we don't do any design work. We will send you a mockup of your design after ordering for you to look at. You are able to make as many alterations to the design as you'd like until you're happy (if you have chosen options such as extra embroidery).

How long does it take?
Belts typically take 6 weeks from ordering. Please allow up to 10 days after ordering to get a first draft of your design. We get a lot of belt orders and they can be time consuming to design (plus we have to actually make them!), so don't be alarmed if you don't get any design drafts straight away. We try to be quicker than this and if you need a belt for a special date you will need to choose the expedited option on the belt builder. Please note that if you choose the expedited option day 1 is the following working day from your order, so if you've ordered on Friday 1st the 1st day will be Monday 4th. A 1 week dispatch would therefore be Mon 11th, 2 weeks Mon 18th, 3 weeks Mon 25th and so on.

What colours can I choose from?
The custom prints are on a faux leatherette, which has a glossy leather texture, so you can print ANYTHING on the belt; photos, comic books, fancy artwork. If you can look at it on a screen we can put it on your belt. The detail is incredible.

Can you do "this" design?
We get a million emails asking if we can do a certain design. The beauty of a printed design is that you can have whatever you want on your belt.

What is Edge Colour?
You can choose to have the edges of your belt black. We use black vegetable tanned leather for the core of your belt (instead of natural coloured vegetable tanned leather). Previously we painted the edges black with Edge Kote, but now we use black leather. It is permanent and the black look shows through the holes and buckle, which gives the belt a really nice look.

What size do I order?
You'll need to measure yourself around your belly button, as per instructions below. If you're not sure which size to order after measuring put the measurement in the order notes and we can ensure the belt fits. It is very important that you let us know your correct size at stomach, as you cannot return your belt if it doesn't fit.

What if I change my mind after ordering?
A lot of work goes into creating a design from the spec given when ordering, with many designs taking several hours. As such an order CANNOT BE CANCELLED after it has been placed. If you have questions prior to ordering please contact us and we can answer them.

What happens after I order?
After you order we will send you an automated email asking a bunch of questions. We will ask you what you'd like on your belt, what font you'd like (please see below for choices or let us know if you have your own). If you have imagery for the design or just inspiration please send this to us. When we have that we can put your design together. Please ensure you reply to this email ASAP so it doesn't delay anything. If you don't receive this email within 24 hours please email us.

ModiFit Weight Lifting Belt - Sizing Information

All belts have 10 holes spaced over 10". The info below shows which belt will be the best fit depending on your waist measurement (as detailed below). To confirm - do not rely on your trouser size as this is often different to your belly button measurement. Please ensure you buy the correct size belt. You cannot get an exchange or refund if the belt doesn't fit.


  • Small: 22" - 31" (belt length 90cm)
  • Medium: 26" - 35" (belt length 100cm)
  • Large: 30" - 39" (belt length 110cm)
  • XL: 34" - 43" (belt length 120cm)
  • 2XL: 36" - 45" (belt length 125cm)
  • 3XL: 38" - 47" (belt length 130cm)
  • 4XL: 40″ – 49″ (belt length 135cm)
  • 5XL: 42″ – 51″ (belt length 140cm)
  • 6XL: 44" - 53" (belt length 145cm)
  • 7XL: 46" - 55" (belt length 150cm)



We want you to be completely satisfied with your order. It is important to us that you are delighted with your purchase but if for any reason you are not, and feel the need to send the item back, we offer a 365 DAY returns policy, starting from the date of  order. All we ask is that you return your goods, no questions asked, in their original state. If you are not happy or you need to change something, the easiest thing to do is to email us so that we both have a record of it. We are happy to exchange any item for you at no extra charge for UK customers (you will need to cover postage of item sent back to us). Overseas customers will need to pay for postage of the replacement item. If an item is damaged or the wrong item was sent we will usually cover return postage, but please notify us prior to sending.

Custom Belts are made to order to your specification and as such are not eligible for a refund should you no longer want it. We try our best to get a belt to you by a given time, but we make no guarantee a belt will be delivered on time. Once your design has been agreed you are no longer able to cancel your order or return it for a refund. If there is an issue in terms of quality we will fix it; if we have made your belt to the wrong specification we will either replace it or alter it; depending on which is most suitable.

For a refund you will need to return your order to us within 365 days of making your order (yes, that's 1 whole year). We aim to process your refund the same week it arrives back with us. We are a small company so we value your repeat business, so we don't want to mess you around - if you've not heard anything from us a few days after returning, just drop us an email or call and we'll check the status for you. Items being returned for a refund will need to be returned in new condition and with the original packaging.

Your item is going through the postal network, not into space. Please be mindful of the fact that a human - not a space robot - will have to open the package and the item you're returning will be going back on sale for someone else to buy. We would very grateful if you could include the original packaging if possible.

Items are returned at your own cost. We would recommend UK customers sending 2nd class. Please note returning an order is your responsibility so it is up to you to decide which service you opt for. If the item fails to arrive with us again that is for you to take up with Royal Mail. We are not responsible for lost returns. Please ensure that you return items with a note inside with your name and order number, as we won't be able to ascertain who the order is from without this.

Please only return to this address. Our orders are dispatched by another company; returning directly to them will incur a cost of £2.50 + VAT. They dispatch thousands of orders every day from hundreds of companies so charge this fee for the labour involved in finding which company the return is for then contacting that company. To avoid this charge please send back to us directly. If you send back to the company that does our orders the charge will be debited from any refund due.

If you qualified for free or reduced rate shipping and you part return your order your order will be recalculated to see if you still qualify for free shipping. If when returning an item your order is below the free / reduced rate shipping threshold, this will be deducted from your refund. Similarly, if you used a discount code that is dependent on a certain order value, your order will be recalculated without the returned item and the difference refunded. If you ordered a bundle of products these cannot be individually returned for a refund, but we can exchange sizes.

For example:

If you ordered a weightlifting belt at £29.99 and knee sleeves at £29.99 your order would come to £59.98. If you choose free shipping (Royal Mail 48 Tracked) and you returned the belt for a refund your order would be recalculated as: Knee Sleeves (£29.99) + Shipping (£3.95), as the knee sleeves are below the free shipping threshold. Your new order would be £33.94, so a refund of £59.98 - £33.94 would be issued (£26.04).
